ET Solar Group has unveiled its new range of residential and rooftop solar modules, the Zero-Rack. The modules have been certified to meet the UL1703 standard and are already available to North American customers.
Through a licensing agreement with Zep Solar, ET Solar developed the Zero-Rack modules with patented Zep Groove drop-in mounted aluminum frames. The utilization of Zep’s frames ensures that ET’s modules require no rails, thus making them easier to ship and store, while also reducing the installation time up to 50%.
Dennis Shaw, ET’s president and CEO, said, "We are very excited with the introduction of this new Zero-Rack module. It strengthens our ability to provide cost-effective solutions to the fast growing rooftop markets. The cost saving on both installation and logistics will benefit both our customers and system end users."
"We are pleased to establish a collaborative relationship with ET Solar. We believe that our patented technology and ET Solar's strong global distribution capability will ensure a wider adoption of this cost-efficient solution," added Zep president Mike Miskovsky.
