Morocco’s solar energy agency (Masen) has excluded Egypt-based Orascom from the list of bidders for the first phase of a 500MW solar project in the Quarzazate region, L’Economiste newspaper reported. The three remaining bidders for the project are Abeinsa Ingeniera y Construction, Enel and the International Company for Water and Power (ACWA Power International). The tender’s results are expected in the next couple of weeks.
