German PV system supplier Conergy has sold a 2.3MW grid-connected solar park on an 8ha site near the city of Cordoba in Andalucia to Ellomay Capital. The solar plant is equipped with 21 IPG 100kW of inverters and features more than 10,500 of Conergy’s PowerPlus PV modules on 21km of SolarLinea mounting systems.

　　Conergy connected another Spanish project, a 5.3MW solar power plant in Murcia, to the grid a few weeks ago.

　　Luis Jimenez Gutierrez, managing director of Conergy Spain, said about the location: "Nearly 2,800 hours of sunshine a year and irradiation levels in southern Spain of around 2,000kW/h per m2 make this is an extremely attractive location for solar power plants."
