DEGERenergie has won a contract to supply two new solar parks in Italy with its DEGERtrakers 6000NT. Installation of the two systems, located in the province of Enna in Sicily and with a combined capacity of 2MW, is already underway and when completed they will be equipped with 7.35 kWp modules and a total of 270 trackers. Etna Energia is managing the new systems.

The first shipment of DEGERtrakers is already on its way to Italy, and project manager Energia is expecting to connect the first systems to the grid in September and the second a month later. “This is an ambitious schedule,” said Christopher Seng, DEGERenergie’s international sales manager. But in the industry, DEGERenergie has rightly earned the reputation of achieving not only higher yields but also for being highly reliable: We are also renowned for the flexibility and speed with which we support our customers.”
