PV equipment supplier, RENA has reported record revenue for its 2010 financial year. Sales doubled to 258 million, compared to 119 million in 2009. The EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) rose to 23.6 million in 2010, compared to 4.9 million in 2009. The wet-chemical processing specialist said its expects further growth in 2011.

'The 2010 business year was a record year for us and the orders in hand at the turn of the year have given us a good starting position for 2011,” remarked Jürgen Gutekunst, founder and indirect sole shareholder of RENA GmbH. “We are well positioned in markets that continue to show growth potential. Based on this starting point, we are confident that we will be able to expand our leading market position further in 2011.”

The company also reported orders in hand as at the end of 2010 stood at 402 million, compared to 97 million in the same period a year ago.
