Microinverter firm, Enphase Energy is attempting an IPO (initial public offering) of common stock, after filing registration documents in the US with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The share offer price range and number of shares to be issued has yet to be determined, according to the company.
The book running managers will be Morgan Stanley and BofA Merrill Lynch. Jefferies will be acting as joint lead manager, and Lazard Capital Markets and ThinkEquity will be acting as co-managers.
Not long ago, Enphase claimed it had shipped more than 500,000 microinverters and planned to triple production capacity in 2011. Enphase outsources production to Flextronics.
Earlier this year, Suntech announced it would stock Enphase’s microinverters alongside Suntech modules in its US warehouses. Initially, Suntech said it had ordered approximately 1MW of microinverters from Enphase.
